Position Summary: Level One – Under close supervision, the Checks & Straightening Level 1 will safely perform basic metal forming processes according to customer specifications. This role requires a fundamental understanding of manual arbor press, hydraulic H presses, shrinker/stretcher machines, feeler gauges, straight edge, height gauge, indicator, micrometers, calipers, weights, materials i.e. aluminum, Titanium, Steel. Ideal candidates will have 0–3 years of experience and basic shop math skills. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Under close supervision, safely perform basic metal forming operations while adhering to safety protocols and customer requirements. Use C/S methods for aluminum parts across various feature types (Flat, Angle, Contour etc.) Verify parts to traveler specified inspection method (Mylar, Template, Tool, etc.) Maintain a clean, organized work area throughout the shift.
