At First Student, our Charter Coordinators help keep things running through booking all outside charter work, then efficiently distributing the work to the appropriate location. Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years’ experience
  • High School Diploma required
  • Industry experience
  • Prior customer service experience
  • Charter booking experience
  • Computer experience a must
  • School Bus transportation experience
  • Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.
  • Little or no travel required, but meeting with local customers may be necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Increases Outside Charter Revenue.
  • Assists in customer quoting and pricing.
  • Distributes and dispatches the new work to the most appropriate branch or location.
  • Increases customer base.
  • Initializes marketing strategies.
  • Determines, sets, and meets budget goals.
