About The Position

We’re seeking a motivated Entry-Level Charity Events Assistant to join our team and support nonprofit programs, community outreach, and charity events. This hands-on, entry-level role is ideal for individuals who want experience in event coordination, fundraising, and community engagement while making a meaningful impact.
No professional experience is required — just a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for helping others.

Requirements

• Passion for community service, nonprofit work, and event planning
• Strong organization, multitasking, and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Positive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

• Coursework in event management, nonprofit studies, or communications is a plus
• Volunteer or prior event experience is a bonus but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing charity events, fundraising drives, and community initiatives
• Support event logistics, including setup, registration, volunteer management, and breakdown
• Engage with donors, sponsors, and participants to ensure a welcoming event experience
• Help create and distribute event communications and promotional materials
• Track and report on attendance, engagement, and fundraising results
• Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to align events with organizational goals
• Participate in post-event evaluations and provide ideas to improve future initiatives
