Requirements

• Passion for nonprofit work, community outreach, and event planning
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Positive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in event management, nonprofit studies, or communications is a plus

Nice To Haves

• Volunteer or prior event experience is a bonus but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing charity events, fundraising campaigns, and community initiatives
• Support event logistics, including setup, registration, volunteer coordination, and breakdown
• Engage with donors, sponsors, and event participants to ensure a welcoming experience
• Help create and distribute event communications and promotional materials
• Track and report on attendance, engagement metrics, and fundraising results
• Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to align events with organizational goals
• Participate in post-event evaluations and contribute ideas to improve future campaigns
