Your day as a Charge Nurse As a new Charge Nurse at Christian Care Centers, Inc, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing staff, coordinating patient care plans, and ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations. You will collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care to our residents. Additionally, you will be in charge of maintaining accurate medical records, administering medications, and addressing any patient concerns or emergencies that may arise. Requirements

  • RN or LVN degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Maintain an active RN or LPN license in the state of Texas
  • At least one year of nursing experience in a long-term or other healthcare setting (two or more years preferred)
  • Strong assessment and clinical skills at a med-surg level
  • Excellent supervisory and communication abilities
  • Dedication to providing top-notch customer service
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Current BLS certification
  • Reliability in terms of punctuality and transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Being a Certified Dementia Practitioner is preferred, although the certification course will be provided upon hiring.
