About The Position

The Charge Nurse provides leadership for an assigned shift within a unit by delegating tasks among team members, supervising performance, and collaborating with others. In addition, the Charge Nurse takes on a regular patient load in the primary job assignment and is recognized as a role model by their peers. This job description is an addendum to the job description for the primary role.

Requirements

  • Meets minimum qualifications and requirements for primary role.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the primary role
  • Proven record of exceptional performance in primary role.
