This role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care to patients with urgent and emergent medical conditions. Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License
  • BLS certification REQUIRED at time of hire
  • Minimum One year of nursing experience required

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff in the Emergency Department.
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and timely patient care.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide immediate and comprehensive care.
  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a positive and collaborative work environment, addressing any staff concerns or issues promptly.
