Department/Unit Summary The Charge Nurse - Med/Surg coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a team with ancillary and non-nursing departments. Provides direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. 4:1 Nurse Ratio 8:1 CNA Ratio Break Nurse, Charge Nurse, and Nursing Supervisor on staff 38 Total Beds 12 Hour Shifts You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. Requirements
- current state RN license
- BLS, ACLS
- 1 year of charge nurse experience required
- bachelor’s degree or associate degree from an accredited nursing school
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years of Med/surg experience preferred
