About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Charge Nurse (RN) to provide clinical leadership and operational oversight for our Modalities department. This role ensures patients receive safe, consistent, and high quality care delivered according to protocol, while supervising and supporting Modalities Technicians. The Charge Nurse serves as a key liaison between clinical staff and leadership and plays an important role in patient experience and departmental performance. BONUS - $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS UPON COMPLETION OF 6 MONTHS OF CONTINUOUS EMPLOYMENT.

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Prior experience as a charge nurse, lead nurse, or clinical supervisor required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced clinical environment
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing clinical teams
  • Patient focused, compassionate approach to care
  • Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with clinical systems
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to manage stress and multitask effectively

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee daily operations of the Modalities department
  • Provide nursing oversight and clinical leadership to Modalities Technicians
  • Ensure patient care is delivered consistently and according to protocol
  • Address patient concerns and resolve service delivery issues
  • Support onboarding, training, and ongoing development of department staff
  • Assist with staff scheduling and coverage as needed
  • Monitor departmental performance, compliance, and cleanliness
  • Maintain inventory and submit supply requests as needed
  • Prepare and review departmental reports and productivity metrics
  • Promote a professional, supportive, and accountable team culture
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all regulatory requirements
  • Escalate concerns to leadership when appropriate
