About The Position

Join our Care team at Mennonite Village - Charge Nurse positions available. At Mennonite Village, we take pride in providing exceptional care to our residents. Current openings: Part time LPN/RN: Friday and Saturdays 10pm - 6:30am About us: Mennonite Village is a not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) that has been serving Mid-Willamette Valley for over 78 years. Our purpose is to be a community where residents live their best lives. Our values are Integrity, Excellence, and Respect. Mennonite Home is our Skilled Nursing department. This department consists of 21 skilled nursing beds on each floor for a total of 42 skilled nursing beds. We provide 24-hour post-op, short-term, and long-term services and support. Why join us? Starting salary for RN is between $38.50 - $44.18 per hour Starting salary for LPN is between $29.50 - $33.85 per hour Consistent, predictable scheduling - no rotating schedules. Requirements

• Possess a current valid and unencumbered LPN or RN license for the state of Oregon
• Current CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• One year of clinical experience in long term care is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supportive of Mennonite Village's mission vision and purpose
• Effectively engage with elderly individuals
• Ability to accurately document activities in writing
• Safely operates a Hoyer lift following zero lift policy and procedures
• Ensure the delivery of quality care to our residents, promoting their comfort and wellbeing
• Provide supervision and support to our dedicated nursing staff
• Coordinate individualized care plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident.
• Administer medications and treatments effectively, adhering to best practices and maintain safety standards
• Maintain regulatory compliance, ensuring our facility meets all required guidelines.
• You'll be in charge of the floor, so it's essential that you have a comprehensive understanding of what's happening throughout our skilled nursing department.
• Your leadership will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional care.
