About The Position

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Religious Studies, Pastoral Counseling, or a related field of ministry from a school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
- Must have completed at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.
- No minimum experience required.
- Licensed or ordained chaplain, and in good standing with their faith tradition.
Nice To Haves
- Completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education in a hospital setting.
- 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and Women’s Services.
- Endorsement or appropriate recognition of ministry by the governing body of the Chaplain’s denomination/faith group
- 3 years of successful post graduate pastoral care, preferably as a chaplain in a healthcare setting
- Membership (or eligibility for membership in) the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
- APC Board Certification.
