We are currently seeking a Chaplain to: Make visits to residents who call The Langford home and residents during hospitalization and follow-up care. Attend and support families during funeral/ memorial services. Provide spiritual care to residents of all faiths with sensitivity and respect for all faith traditions, with the goal of enabling residents to utilize their own faith as a resource for health and healing. Utilize resources of local congregations to assist in meeting the spiritual needs of residents, families and staff at The Langford. Schedule and coordinate worship services in the community Chapel and conduct worship services as needed. Assist Life Enrichment

Requirements

  • Three years’ experience in a field related to Chaplaincy, Practical Ministry and/or Pastoral Care.
  • Considerable knowledge of computer use, including e-mail, word processing and spreadsheet programs, and ability to learn relevant facility software.
  • Knowledgeable of Pastoral Care and Services as they relate to a non-profit, church-related institution.

  • Models a service attitude toward others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, families, and coworkers.
  • Able to demonstrate sincere compassion.
