Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Spirituality, Religious Studies, Pastoral Counseling, or a related field of ministry from a school accredited by a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).
Must have completed at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education.
No minimum experience required.
Licensed or ordained chaplain, and in good standing with their faith tradition.
Nice To Haves
Completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education in a hospital setting.
1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and Women’s Services.
Endorsement or appropriate recognition of ministry by the governing body of the Chaplain’s denomination/faith group
3 years of successful post graduate pastoral care, preferably as a chaplain in a healthcare setting
Membership (or eligibility for membership in) the Association of Professional Chaplains or the National Association of Catholic Chaplains.
