Requirements

• 1 year of Pastoral experience in a hospital setting.
• Bachelor's Degree in Theology, Divinity or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in Theology, Divinity or equivalent.
• Ordination and/or endorsement by faith group.
• Board certification or board cerfication eligible.
• At least four units of ACPE CPE.

Nice To Haves

• 2 years of Ministry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and directs spiritual care services to patients, families, and staff.
• Prepares religious messages, lessons by studying religious teachings, pronouncements and writing sermons.
• Maintains doctrinal knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading the writings of spiritual leaders, establishing religious community networks and exploring the religious beliefs of others.
• Provides leadership, education that shapes and supports the culture of spirituality.
• Collaborates with area clergy to honor the requests of patients and families.
• Provides spiritual support to all clinical providers in the hospital.
• Fosters relations with community clergy and religious leaders.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
