Chaplain- Home Hospice
Full Time
Days (8am - 5pm)
Every 5th weekend
1 - 2 holidays a year
Works in collaboration with the Home Hospice (out in the community) teams assessing and addressing spiritual care needs of patients and caregivers.
May also be asked to provide coverage in the inpatient center in Mount Joy
Must be able to complete 6-8 weeks of a FT, day shift orientation.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Divinity or equivalent degree required
• 4 units of CPE required
• Must work a minimum of 64 hours per two-week pay period
• Must work a minimum of 40 hours per two week pay period
• Must be vaccinated for influenza or be granted a religious/medical exemption.

Nice To Haves

• M.Div. or equivalent from an accredited college or university is preferred
• Ecclesiastical endorsement and ordination or commissioning to function in the ministry of spiritual care by a recognized faith group is preferred but not required
• Board Certification through Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or through the Spiritual Care Association (SCA) is required within 5 years of hire.
