About The Position

The purpose of this position is to assist the Food Services department by acting as a cashier for Chaparral Lopes Mart. Provides attentive and responsive customer service. May arrange merchandise to make attractive displays. Records all sales, collects money, operates a cash register and follows all cash handling procedures as required. Maintains required stock of products and may participate in ordering, inventory, and stocking activities.

Requirements

• Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
• Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes.
• Must be able to work weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
• Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
• Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.

Nice To Haves

• Prior customer service and/or food service experience a plus.
