Channel Program Operations Lead

About The Position

As the Channel Program Operations lead, you are the architect and guardian of our channel ecosystem. This role is designed for a high-initiative tactical problem solver who thrives on finding friction in a system and fixing it. You won't just be managing a list of programs; you will be identifying operational gaps, designing scalable solutions, and working directly with leadership to ensure our Go-To-Market (GTM) efforts are seamless and data-driven. Success in this role means obsessing over the "user experience" of our programs—constantly asking, “How do we make ourselves easier to do business with?” for our partners and our internal stakeholders alike.

Requirements

  • Minimum five years experience in channel operations, sales operations, marketing operations or sales management.
  • Proven track record of improving or scaling business processes.
  • Experience in a role requiring high levels of cross-functional influence and leadership.
  • Advanced Data Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is a must. You must be comfortable with complex formulas (VLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables) and have a proven ability to reconcile large, messy datasets manually when necessary.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
  • A Natural Self-Starter: You are energized by ambiguity. You take full ownership of projects, demonstrate unwavering commitment to operational excellence. You don’t need a manual; you prefer to write the manual.
  • Inquisitive & Analytical: You are the person who asks "How does this scale?" and "What happens if we change this variable?" You look beyond the surface of a problem, applying rigorous critical thinking to break down complex issues and dive into data to inform decisions
  • Strategically Minded: You possess strong business acumen and understand that operations is the backbone of strategy. You can communicate complex process changes to leadership by focusing on business impact and ROI, and are comfortable engaging with external partners and senior leaders at a professional level. Crucially, you are proactive in your communication, ensuring stakeholders are never left wondering about the status of a project.
  • Unwavering Reliability: You demonstrate a high commitment to deadlines and transparency. If a roadblock arises, you communicate it early with a proposed workaround rather than letting the deadline pass.
  • Bias for Action: You don’t just flag issues; you propose the fix. You approach challenges by presenting a drafted framework or a "straw man" solution, moving conversations quickly from problem identification to execution.
  • Trusted Partner: You are adept at building and earning the confidence and trust of cross-functional partners, particularly Sales leadership, through reliable execution and transparent communication.

Responsibilities

  • Operational Diagnosis: Conduct ongoing analysis of the channel lifecycle to identify bottlenecks, data inaccuracies, or manual hurdles. You are expected to dive deep into disparate data (Salesforce, POS, external reports) to uncover root causes and proactively propose and lead the implementation of scalable fixes, ensuring all deliverables are high-quality and completed with demonstrated reliability. . This includes hands-on data reconciliation and the manual cleanup of records to ensure 100% data integrity.
  • Strategic Execution: Translate GTM leadership goals into functional program structures that are operationally intuitive for the Sales team to execute This includes defining rules of engagement, discount frameworks, and performance-based incentives.
  • System & Process Integrity: Own the "how" of our channel programs. Partner with IT and Ops teams to ensure our tech stack (CRM, PRM) supports our strategic vision and provides a frictionless experience for our partners and internal customers
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the strategic bridge between Sales, Finance, and Marketing. You will lead the "logic" behind programs to ensure they are financially viable and operationally sound.
  • Data & Insights: Develop and maintain dashboards that track program health. You don't just report numbers; you leverage critical thinking and data analysis to provide the "so what" to leadership to influence future strategy and drive measurable results.
