This role supports Hitachi Energy’s Investor‑Owned Utility (IOU) business by managing and growing distributor channel accounts that serve electric utilities across the United States and Canada. The Channel Manager works at the intersection of utilities, channel partners, and Hitachi Energy’s diverse businesses, helping position a broad portfolio of power grid solutions to expand market penetration, customer satisfaction, and share of spend. The position involves managing end‑to‑end channel relationships, from executive engagement and account planning to resolving complex issues and mobilizing internal teams. By applying sound business insight, utility market knowledge, and a value‑based sales approach, the Channel Manager helps channel partners address their business needs while advancing Hitachi Energy’s strategic priorities. This work directly supports utility customers by enabling reliable, competitive, and high‑impact solutions across the power grid ecosystem.
