About The Position

Position Summary Event setup and tear down of arena and multipurpose space, standby shifts of concerts, special events, and basketball games. This role will pay an hourly wage of $18.00. Benefits for PT roles: 401(k) savings plan and 401(k) matching. Also, OVG provides part-time, seasonal, and internship employees with one hour of accrued paid leave per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year. Operated by OVG since it opened in 2002, Chartway Arena is known as one of the premier mid-sized collegiate venues in the country. Chartway Arena is home to Old Dominion Monarch Men's and Women's basketball, as well as concerts, family shows and other attractions for the Hampton Roads area. - Must be able to lift 75 lbs

- must have a flexible schedule
Responsibilities
- Event setup and tear down of arena and multipurpose space, standby shifts of concerts, special events, and basketball games.
- Detail to attention
- Ability to take direction and act with efficiency
- Work as a team member and support all activities to successfully navigate the changing, fast-paced environment of a busy arena
