The Change & Release Specialist supports the reliable introduction of application and infrastructure changes into the production environment. This role coordinates cross-functional change and release activities, ensures adherence to established controls and approval practices, and helps protect system stability, security, and audit readiness. The position operates as an experienced individual contributor, applying judgment and structured processes to support effective, low-risk production changes. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience supporting change management, release coordination, IT operations, or technology.
  • Experience with the enablement within regulated or production environments, including cross‑functional collaboration with technology, operations, and business teams.
  • Working knowledge of change and release lifecycle concepts.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities and stakeholders using structured processes.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate planned changes and releases across technology and business teams to support timely, controlled production deployments.
  • Maintain required change, release, and deployment records to ensure accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness.
  • Track and summarize key change and release outcomes (e.g., completion, issues, rollbacks) to support transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Support timely preparation of release communications and documentation for impacted stakeholders.
  • Serve as a central coordination point for change and release activities involving engineering, testing, operations, security, and business partners.
  • Facilitate structured reviews to confirm readiness, approvals, and sequencing of production changes.
  • Coordinate deployment timing to reduce customer and business disruption.
  • Communicate status, risks, and post-release outcomes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support compliance with internal policies, risk controls, and applicable regulatory or security requirements.
  • Verify that changes meet defined readiness criteria, including approvals, testing evidence, dependencies, and rollback considerations.
