Requirements
- Knowledge of: Safe work practices
- Ability to: Operate a radio
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing using the English language
- Receive direction both verbally and in writing and follow those directions precisely
- Present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times during the workday
- Tasks are performed with moderate supervision without assistance for 40% of the workday; pushing and pulling doors open, lifting, stooping, bending and lifting at least 50 lbs.
- Walking for long distances for more than 50% of workday.
- This position may require work inside or outside of the building, as needed by events.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours. Employees may be scheduled to work until 12:00am or later.
- Must be able to pass background.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a similar line of work
- Prefer forklift certificate
Responsibilities
- Participates in Event set-ups and strikes, including but not limited to, chairs, tables, riser/stages, reader boards, stanchions, lecterns, piano, office furniture and equipment, etc.
- Cleans equipment when necessary.
- Makes recommendations for the improvement of all phases of the facility operation.
- Works safely at all times, notifying the Lead or Supervisor immediately of any accidents/incidents.
- Perform other duties as assigned
