Our job is to make sure that it never changes. The Change order Manager oversees the assignment, compliance, and execution of supplemental work within the insurance channel. This leadership role ensures operational alignment with carrier policies, financial accuracy, and internal standards across all job scopes and documentation. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in insurance, team leadership, and workflow optimization.

Requirements

  • Experience in insurance claims, supplementation, or construction project
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage workflows, and enforce compliance
  • Strong understanding of financial documentation and insurance approval

Responsibilities

  • Assign approved jobs to the Change Order Specialist for processing and scoping, ensuring timely and appropriate distribution.
  • Oversee compliance with submission timelines (24–32 hours; max 72 hours excluding weekends).
  • Approve jobs for the invoice milestone only after verifying accuracy of financial worksheets and insurance documentation.
  • Conduct audits with Director of Operations to assess workflow consistency and process accuracy.
  • Ensure high-quality standards in scope writing, estimating, and communication with insurance
  • Monitor and stay current with insurance policies and requirements across multiple states.
  • Ensure alignment of job practices with applicable laws, carrier policies, and local building
  • Develop and implement ongoing training initiatives to support team development, compliance, and performance.
