About The Position

The Change Lead is a strategic enabler for HP’s Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization, driving clarity and confidence across culture, AI, and transformation initiatives. This role translates S&T priorities into compelling, human-centered narratives that help employees and stakeholders understand why change matters, what’s changing, and how to lead effectively in an AI-augmented, digitally modern enterprise. As a member of the S&T leadership team, the Change Management Lead connects enterprise strategy to human behavior—using communication to accelerate adoption, build trust, and reinforce the cultural shifts essential to HP’s transformation agenda.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in transformation, change, communications, or digital communications.
  • Proven experience supporting enterprise-wide digital, AI, or cultural transformation.
  • Skilled at navigating large, matrixed organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strategic storytelling and narrative-building for enterprise transformation.
  • Ability to simplify complex AI and digital concepts.
  • Experience driving culture changes.
  • Executive presence and ability to influence without authority.
  • Expertise in change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Data-informed mindset with comfort using insights to guide decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Change Narrative for S&T Develop and own a unifying narrative that integrates HP’s cultural evolution, AI adoption, and digital modernization within the S&T context. Translate complex AI and digital concepts into accessible messaging for diverse audiences. Reinforce transformation-critical mindsets including learning agility, experimentation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Executive & Leadership Enablement Partner with the Chief S&T Officer and S&T leaders to craft authentic, forward-looking messages that role-model transformation behaviors. Develop the change strategy, executive talking points, leadership meeting content, and strategic updates on AI and digital initiatives. Coach leaders to communicate with clarity and empathy, particularly during periods of ambiguity or resistance.
  • Change, Adoption & Engagement Design change strategies that accelerate adoption of AI tools, digital platforms, and new ways of working. Anticipate and address employee concerns related to automation and role evolution through transparent, trust-building messaging and various change tactics. Establish listening mechanisms and feedback loops to foster two-way dialogue. Create high-impact content—playbooks, FAQs, videos, toolkits—that simplify complex transformation topics. Sequence messaging to reduce noise and help employees focus on priority actions.
  • Measurement & Insight Establish key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of change strategies and track adoption progress. Apply insights to continuously refine messaging and the overall change strategy
