About The Position

The Change Management Consultant role focuses on the people side of change in clients’ enterprise software implementations. This role works to understand changes to a client’s business processes, systems and technology, organization structures, job roles and responsibilities, and develop strategies to smooth the transition. The primary responsibility is to recommend and implement change management initiatives that will minimize employee resistance and maximize user adoption of processes and technology while helping the client build their own internal Organizational Change Management capabilities through mentoring and coaching.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in change management.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies (example: Prosci, Kotter)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or other enterprise platforms
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project and software implementation lifecycle.
  • Proven track record of successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Understanding of organizational dynamics and experience supporting cross-functional teams and client-facing engagements
  • Change Management Expertise: Proven experience in designing and implementing change management strategies. In-depth knowledge of change management methodologies and best practices.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to identify and engage key stakeholders at all levels. Experience in building and maintaining relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to assess the impact of changes and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Project Management: Understanding of project management principles. Experience in managing change initiatives within project timelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Comfortable with and interested in collaborating and innovating alongside other Change Management professionals
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Change Readiness Assessments to evaluate organizational preparedness for transformation.
  • Understand client business drivers and objectives and drive the project to meet or exceed them.
  • Develop, Coach, and/or Execute structured change management implementation strategies to ensure consistency in adopting change for every employee and department.
  • Identify potential risks and points of resistance, and assist in developing mitigation strategies to reduce resistance and foster a positive acceptance of the platform.
  • Analyze business process changes and their impact on roles, systems, and culture.
  • Draft communications tailored to various audiences
  • Help facilitate executive alignment and stakeholder engagement
  • Coach/mentor client Change Leads to advance change management capabilities
  • Collaborate with Client Change Leads to develop progressive learning plans that guide employees through change.
  • Be an active and visible coach to executives and leaders who are change sponsors.
  • Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms, opportunities for progressive learning, and celebrations of success.
  • Work with project teams to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.
  • Maintain a close engagement with specialists from training and communication departments to ensure a smooth transition to change and organization-wide successful implementation of change initiatives.
  • Stay current with change management trends by engaging in professional development and knowledge sharing.
