Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working with Configuration Management (CM) principles and lifecycle and the ability to manage configuration identification, control, status accounting, and audits in alignment with formal CM plans
  • 5+ years of experience with supporting Change Management, Configuration Management (CM), or Data Management (DM) activities in space, ground, software, or hardware systems for Major Defense Acquisition Programs
  • 1+ years of experience with CM tools and repositories such as Service Now, or Jira Assets
  • Experience using digital engineering, version control, and documentation systems, such as modeling tools, metadata structures, document revision control
  • Experience with identifying, analyzing, and reporting impacts to the technical baseline through technical reports and impact assessments and recommending solutions, mitigation, alternatives, and corrective actions at control board meetings
  • Ability to validate and enforce CM processes across development teams ensuring adherence to defined CM plans, workflows, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs)
  • Ability to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Change Control Boards (CCBs) and Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and the capability to oversee and execute structured change processes, including evaluation, approval, and documentation
  • Experience with systems engineering
  • Experience with space-based remote sensing systems
  • Experience with using Model-Based systems engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • Experience with using metrics to improve processes and ensure consistency and standardization across the organization
  • Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02
  • Ability to perform multiple systems engineering and program management functions in support of program milestones, including the functional and physical configuration audits, understand system dependencies, requirements traceability, and system lifecycle integration
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
  • Configuration Management Training Foundation (CMTF) CICM Certification
