CHA Development Associate
About The Position
The CHA Development Associate is part of the Children's Hospital Association Team, reporting to the Executive Director. In this role the Associate will provide operational and project support as directed, including data collection, analysis, and production of donor materials such as donor reports, presentations and marketing materials. They will also play an important role in supporting the delivery of fundraising and engagement activities with key donors and therefore must have the ability to provide high0touch hospitality and customer service to key supporters. This individual will work independently and autonomously.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or related experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in two or more of the following areas required\: fundraising, event planning, direct mail marketing, donor stewardship or development, volunteer management, client management or business development.
- 2-3 years' experience in a nonprofit development, volunteer management or communication
- Positive attitude, quick learner, proactive problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability and willingness to take on increase responsibility
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work both as a team player and independently
- Ability to work well under pressure, maintain deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of social media platforms
- Commitment to the organization's mission
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CRM and/or donor database preferred
- Experience or education in Marketing or Communications a plus
