The Program/Management Analyst provides engineering and maintenance-focused support to the CH‑53K flight test program at HX‑21. This role analyzes complex engineering and maintenance data for prototype aircraft, with particular emphasis on special inspections, non‑standard components, configuration audits, and life‑limit tracking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of test operations. The analyst serves as a technical authority with deep aviation maintenance expertise, interfacing daily with test squadrons, program offices, logistics leadership, and maintenance teams to plan resources, manage budgets, and align sustainment efforts with program objectives. Qualified candidates bring extensive CH‑53K and developmental test experience, strong proficiency in interpreting engineering documentation beyond standard manuals, and the leadership skills needed to provide independent analysis, recommendations, and mentorship across multidisciplinary test team functions. This position supports the CH-53 Government Flight Test Director (GFTD) and Lead Test Engineer (LTE) at Air Test and Evaluation Squadron Two One (HX-21), NAS Patuxent River.
