AECOM is seeking a California freshwater shrimp Permitted Biologist (Biologist IV) to help deliver California's most critical infrastructure projects in the North Bay Area. This is a remote, part-time, on-call position meaning hours will vary based off of project needs. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our group of more than 100 environmental professionals in the Bay Area. This hybrid position will join our AECOM team based in the Oakland office. Assignments would generally be in the field or could be completed remotely, with limited, occasional presence required in the Oakland office. This position would support clients in northern California, with a focus on the North Bay Area region (Marin, Napa, Sonoma and Solano Counties). The position would involve occasional presence/absence surveys for California freshwater shrimp (Syncaris pacifica) and other technical support related to biological and aquatic resources such as biological monitoring, natural resource field surveys, and reporting.
