At Marceco we are in the business of connecting consumers to their universe through our Boost Mobile retailers and dealers. As the largest Direct Distribution Partner for Echostar (which owns Boost Mobile), we have over 2,000 Boost dealer locations across the United States. We are currently looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive Leadership Team in Grand Rapids, Michigan at our Corporate Headquarters. Our corporate office is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan where we have most of our positions that support our field teams. We also have field sales and account roles across the US that work directly with our Boost retailers. As our Chief Financial Officer, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for guiding the company’s financial strategy and operations. This role requires a blend of strategic foresight, operational rigor, and the energy to thrive in an ever-changing business environment. You will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to ensure financial sustainability while fueling growth and innovation. In this role, you will bring not only strong financial leadership, but also optimism, enthusiasm, and a growth-oriented mindset to help us shape the future.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree specializing in accounting or related field; CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in accounting.
At least three (3) to five (5) years in a senior finance leadership or executive role.
Financial management experience to include educational training in accounting or finance.
Lead financial strategy and planning with a growth-first mindset.
Own forecasting, budgeting, and reporting while keeping things lean, smart, and agile.
Build strong investor relationships and play a leading role in fundraising efforts.
Put scalable financial systems and processes in place that grow with us.
Balance optimism with discipline—help us dream big while staying grounded.
Inspire and mentor a growing finance team, bringing energy and positivity every step of the way.
Experience leading finance in a startup or high-growth environment.
Strong background in fundraising, capital strategy, and investor relations.

Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals.
Partner with executive leadership to inform strategic decisions through financial analysis and modeling.
Provide insight and recommendations on long-term business and financial planning.
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to provide accurate and timely financial information.
Monitor key financial metrics and drive initiatives to improve performance and profitability.
Conduct scenario planning to evaluate potential business opportunities and risks.
Accounting & Compliance Ensure integrity of financial statements and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
Oversee audit processes and maintain strong internal controls.
Manage tax planning and corporate governance matters.
Treasury & Capital Management Optimize cash flow, liquidity, and capital structure.
Lead fundraising efforts, investor relations, and debt management as needed.
Oversee risk management, including financial, operational, and market risks.
Team Leadership & Development Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and external financial partners.
