About The Position

Join a private equity–backed estate management group rebuilding and modernizing its finance function.
Role Snapshot
Lead finance for a multi-entity property and services organization. You’ll handle both strategy and execution—building systems, driving reporting, and managing financial operations end to end. Ideal for a senior controller or VP stepping into their first CFO seat.
This is a hands-on finance role with strategic visibility. You’ll partner directly with ownership and private equity sponsors to rebuild the finance infrastructure, strengthen reporting, and drive performance through better data and systems.

Requirements

• CPA or MBA
• 10+ years in multi-entity finance or operations accounting
• Experience in a private equity–backed environment
• Background in asset-heavy accounting and CapEx management
• Proven experience in FP&A and data-driven financial planning
• Demonstrated success building or upgrading financial systems
• Strong grasp of GAAP, cash flow, and consolidation
• Willing to travel regionally (~20%)

Nice To Haves

• Experience in property services, construction, or real estate operations
• ERP migration or NetSuite buildout

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis across entities
• Own FP&A: budgets, variance analysis, and long-range planning
• Oversee accounting, cash flow, and compliance
• Manage CapEx planning, fixed assets, and depreciation schedules
• Build financial controls, processes, and reporting systems
• Support ownership and private equity partners on M&A and capital strategy
• Develop a lean, capable finance team as the business scales
