About The Position

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Full-Time Certified Welding Inspector for projects based from our Panama City Beach, FL location. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Primary duties include performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, etc.).

Requirements

Current AWS CWI is required

Nice To Haves

NDT Level II UT and Magnetic Particle Testing a plus
ICC certifications in Structural Masonry, Structural Steel, Reinforced Concrete are a plus

Responsibilities

Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
Input results and observations into daily reports
