Requirements

• Certification(s): Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required; BLS preferred
• Team oriented and positively contribute to exceptional customer service
• Excellent organizational & communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room by selecting and opening sterile instruments
• Assembles, adjusts, and checks non-sterile equipment
• Utilizes sterilizers, lights, suction machines, electrosurgical units, and diagnostic equipment during surgery
• Assists with sponge, needle, and other supply counts to track materials used in surgery
• Follow guidelines of HIPAA in maintaining patient confidentiality
