About The Position
Performs direct and indirect technical tasks for patients before, during and after surgical interventions under the direction of licensed staff.
Requirements
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication and basic computer proficiency skills.
- Requires critical thinking skill, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a ever-changing environment and respond appropriately to complex situations.
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologists program or extensive experience as a surgical technologist, such as is usually obtained in approximately 10 years.
- CST-Certified Surgical Technologist
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
Nice To Haves
- at least 1 year of experience using the da Vinci Surgical System
- at least 1 year of experience with orthopedic total joint replacement surgeries.
- Acute care experience
