About The Position
Fast-paced, high volume Surgery department is looking for top skilled CST’s. Is that you? Work location: Texas Health Forth Worth Harris, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Ft Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full Time Night Shift 36 hrs/week. Weekend and holiday requirements Surgery Department highlights: Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 75 surgeries/day Level I Trauma Candidate performing high-acuity and intense surgical procedures capable of providing excellent clinical experience to the new hire. Robotics, Complex spine and ortho trauma, and intricate plastic surgery cases are the highlight of surgical offerings at THFW
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice Surgical Technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 or Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or Military Training Surgical Technology program.
- 1 Year current operating room experience
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist upon hire or LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse upon hire or Military Training Program in surgical technology
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support
- Possesses organizational skills to function in a fast-paced environment, positive interpersonal skills, good verbal, and written communication skills, able to perform basic computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of current Certified Surgical Tech experience strongly preferred.
