Position Highlights Work location: 6100 Harris Pkwy, Fort Worth, TX 76132 Work environment: Surgery Department Work hours: Full-Time Days 3 x 12hour shifts (Variable 0630-1900) Mon-Fri, some weekends, some holidays. Position Responsibilities THSW Certified Surgical Tech’s will assist in some incredible Robotic procedures to include Urologic, Gynecologic, and General Surgery. They also will assist in 10 OR suites providing services in Orthopedic, Ortho/Spine, Podiatry, Plastics, Vascular, Gynecology, Urology and General Surgery.

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Req
• Or Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Req
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate of an accredited surgical tech program Upon Hire Req
• Or CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility before September 1, 2009 Upon Hire Req
• Or CST - Certified Surgical Technologist CST (NBSTSA) or TS-C (NCCT) and graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology 2 Years Req
• Or LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire Req
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, acceptable grooming practices and ability to function in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Nice To Haves

• Other Graduate of an accredited surgery technology program, Vocational Nurse Program or graduate/completion of a military training program in surgical technology Upon hire Pref
• 1 Year current operating room experience Pref
