About The Position

At Saint Alphonsus, our Surgical Services teams play a critical role in delivering exceptional, mission‑driven care. We’re seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our Day Surgery Center in Boise — a full‑time, fully benefited role where you’ll support a wide variety of outpatient surgical procedures. As a CST within the Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will: Prepare the surgical environment and ensure all instruments, equipment, and supplies are available and functioning. Support physicians and surgical staff by anticipating needs throughout the procedure. Maintain strict adherence to sterile technique and safety standards. Communicate clearly and effectively with the surgical team and supervisory staff. Contribute to a smooth workflow by organizing supplies, assisting with room turnover, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained. Requirements

Current certification as a: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA OR Tech in Surgery–Certified (TS‑C) through NCCT
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through AHA, ARC, or Military Training Network
Strong attention to detail, solid knowledge of aseptic technique, and the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Haves

One year of scrub experience in an acute care hospital setting
Experience in outpatient or same‑day surgery environments
A passion for patient-centered care and continuous improvement
