Requirements
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a human services field (non-licensed) and/or certification as a Qualified Addiction Professional per the Missouri Credentialing Board, Inc. (MCB).
- Successful completion of a background check including criminal record and driving record.
- Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance.
- First Aid and CPR certification to be obtained within the first three months of employment.
- Completion of training requirements including Behavioral Management training.
Nice To Haves
- Credentials such as Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Certified Reciprocal Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CRADC) are preferred.
- Willingness to become credentialed in additional states and provide telehealth services.
Responsibilities
- Complete the intake, screening, and assessment process within designated time frames.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in alignment with state guidelines and clients' unique needs.
- Facilitate group counseling and individual sessions aimed at resolving substance use-related challenges.
- Participate actively in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings, sharing pertinent case insights.
- Document services provided in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Assist clients through transitions, preparing necessary documentation and correspondence.
- Maintain professional relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers, in adherence to the agency's Code of Ethics.
- Handle crisis situations effectively and represent the agency in the community professionally.
