About The Position

Rome Health is seeking a full-time sterile processing and distribution technician to decontaminate, sterilize, prepare and package surgical instruments, devices and other equipment for safe patient care.

A technician certified by International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management (IAHCSMM) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) is preferred. However, the department will train the right candidate who is detail-oriented with demonstrated aptitude for consistently following and documenting established protocols for safety.

The position requires flexible scheduling and overtime as needed based upon clinical volume. Flex day shift with required On-call and rotating weekend, nights and holidays are required.
