About The Position

This full-time Certified Sterile Processing Tech position at Frederick Health involves ensuring the proper sterilization and processing of surgical instrumentation, medical surgical supplies, and patient equipment. The role requires a certified professional with knowledge of these items and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will also need to demonstrate an aptitude for learning new medical surgical products and instrument technology. Requirements

  • Certification via the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management is required
  • Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, medical surgical supplies and patient equipment
  • Ability to function independently or in a group while using time effectively by setting and/or redefining priorities
  • Ability to learn medical surgical products and instrument technology
