Requirements

Certification via the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution or the International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management is required
Knowledge of surgical instrumentation, medical surgical supplies and patient equipment
Ability to function independently or in a group while using time effectively by setting and/or redefining priorities
Ability to learn medical surgical products and instrument technology
