Southeastern Massachusetts – less than 30 minutes to Providence, Rhode Island and the Cape and less than 1 hour to Boston, Massachusetts. Requirements
- Graduate of accredited nurse anesthesia program.
- Current state RN License.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Valid state APRN Recognition or obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Two (2) years of anesthesia care is required.
- Valid state APRN Recognition or obtain within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assemble necessary supplies and equipment, and administer intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to surgical or other medical procedures.
- Monitor patient's reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and take remedial action when warranted.
- Submit postoperative report on patient's condition, and maintain records of anesthetics administered.
- Position reports to the Physician, Office Manager, or designee.
