Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Columbia, SC Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: April – June 2026 Start | 13 -Week Assignment Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00a – 5:00p (40 Hours/Week) COVERAGE DATES Start Date: April – June 2026 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks 40 Hours per Week Guaranteed No Block Scheduling PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adolescents and Adults (Approximately 95% Adults, 5% Pediatrics; Ages 12+) Patient Volume/Census: 30+ Cases Per Day Including Out -of -OR Cases Admissions: Yes Rounding: Not Included Case Mix: Orthopedic, Spine, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Plastics, General Surgery; Out -of -OR GI, CV/TEE, MRI Coverage as Needed FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 7 Operating Rooms and 1 Endoscopy Suite EMR System: Epic Office Equipment Available: Fully Equipped OR and On -Campus Outpatient Surgery Center Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty Surgical Support Support Staff Available: Medical Directed ACT Model (4:1 Ratio) Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Staffing PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Expedited Credentialing Available Credentialing Timeline: Up to 4 Months with Active SC License; 5–6 Months Without SC License COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Included in All -Inclusive Rate REQUIRED PROCEDURES General and Spine Anesthesia Ventilation Management Evaluation and Management of Acute Volume and Blood Pressure Issues Arterial Line Placements Coverage for GI, CV/TEE, and MRI as Needed JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active South Carolina License Required Board: NBCRNA Board Certification Required DEA: Active DEA Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (AHA Certifications Required) Experience: Minimum 2 Years Post -Training CRNA Experience Other Qualifications: Clean Background Required; Local Candidates Within 60 Miles Not Accepted DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide anesthesia services in a medical directed ACT model Deliver care across OR and out -of -OR procedural settings Collaborate with surgical teams and anesthesia staff Maintain accurate documentation within Epic EMR Adhere to hospital protocols and patient safety standards
