About The Position

Eagleville Hospital is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to join our Specialized Patient Support Department. In this vital role, you will provide direct peer-based recovery support to individuals dealing with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues. As a CRS, you will draw on your own recovery journey to engage with and inspire hope in our patients. This is an evening shift position with hours ranging from 2pm-11:30pm and one weekend shift in schedule to be discussed during the interview. One holiday is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must hold a current Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) credential.
• Personal lived experience in substance use recovery is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and group facilitation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with co-occurring disorders and the 12-step model is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support and mentorship through one-on-one interactions and group settings.
• Model effective coping strategies and recovery behaviors.
• Assist patients in building life skills, recognizing relapse triggers, and setting recovery goals.
• Facilitate patient orientation, 12-step meetings, and weekend activities.
• Respond to behavioral health crises and assist with de-escalation.
• Actively participate in treatment planning and team meetings.
• Advocate for recovery-based approaches across the clinical environment.
