Cypress Creek Hospital features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. We currently have an opportunity for a Full Time Certified Pharmacy Technician The Certified Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist in providing pharmaceutical services to adolescent and adult patients as prescribed by the physician. Must be able to work every other weekend and as needed.

Requirements

• Education: H.S. diploma with graduation from a pharmacy technician program
• Experience: One year hospital experience
• Licensure: Current certification from the Texas Pharmacy Board
• Certifications: None
• Additional Requirements: Computer skills. Flexible hours to include weekends.

Responsibilities

• Accurately fills medication cart.
• Prints and labels patient medications.
• Delivers medication to nursing units.
• Assists Pharmacist in maintaining accurate patient profiles containing all patient information necessary for clinical monitoring. All necessary patient information (allergies, height, weight, diagnosis, etc.) will be entered into the computer daily.
• Assists Pharmacist in identification and entry of medication orders into computer.
• Records medication billing into computer daily.
• Billing will be accurate and completed daily.
• Other Duties as Assigned
