Job Summary Working under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist, you will support all clinical areas by assisting with the safe preparation, distribution, and storage of medications. Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the packaging, labeling, and distribution of drugs in accordance with state and federal regulations. Maintaining and stocking automated dispensing systems across inpatient units. Ensuring proper medication storage and maintaining accurate record-keeping. Supporting clinical staff by prioritizing drug supply and dispensing needs. Upholding departmental policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care. Why Southwoods? Requirements

  • Licensure: Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician with the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy (Required).
  • Certification: Current national certification (CPhT) through PTCB or ExCPT (Required).
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, proficiency with pharmacy automation technology, and a commitment to professional excellence.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience: Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred.
