About The Position

General Summary:

 Assists pharmacist in daily routine of filling prescriptions and inventory control and assists patients at the counter

Works under the supervision of the Pharmacist

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to count accurately.
• Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
• Seeks additional appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• Pharmacy Tech Certification and registered with the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
• Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
• HS diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a retail Pharmacy

Responsibilities

• Assist with filling prescriptions: packages and labels prescriptions under the direct supervision of the pharmacist
• Pull inventory and count medications
• Accurately receive telephone orders
• Run cash register
• Assist customers
• Place orders with vendors to replenish and maintain adequate levels of pharmaceutical inventory
• Stock merchandise and various food products.
• Other duties as assigned.
