About The Position

This position, based at Esatto Pharma in Queen Creek, is focused on providing excellent customer service to our patients and providers in a retail pharmacy setting. This role requires diligence, attention to detail, superior organization skills and a desire to delight our patients in every interaction while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Full Time: 40 hours per week
• High School degree or equivalent
• Certified pharmacy technician in the state of Arizona or working toward certification
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to undergo a background check and drug testing in advance of employment
• Must be capable of donning the appropriate personal protective equipment as required per procedure and medication handled.
• Complete 2 hours of continuous education related to remote pharmacy dispensing/telepharmacy
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers in person and by phone.
• Leverage pharmacy management software for efficient entry of prescription information and to provide updates to patients.
• Fill prescriptions and prepare for pick up or shipment.
• Effectively process prescription orders to quickly get the right medication to the right patient at the right time.
• Process medication orders through point of sale system.
• Participate in regular audits and inspections.
• Participate in any department meeting and quality improvement activities.
• Complete appropriate documentation such as labels, log sheets, and reports in a timely manner.
