The Certified Inpatient Pharmacy Technician I supports pharmacists in ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely distribution of medications to hospitalized patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, selecting, counting, non-sterile compounding, packaging, labeling, and delivering medications. As an entry-level role, this position also involves maintaining inventory, operating pharmacy automation systems, and adhering to safety protocols and regulatory standards. Pharmacy Technicians will be working with chemotherapy and hazardous medications on a daily basis and compounding is a primary job duty.
