Non-Exempt $18.37 Job Summary: Responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses. The peer worker will act as a consumer advocate, provide information and support for consumers, and assist consumers in their recovery process.
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Certification as a certified peer specialist in the state of New Mexico.
- Must maintain a clean driving record.
- Must submit to LCDF required background check, TB screen and drug testing.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing peer support services to members with behavioral health issues, psychiatric disorders, drug and/or alcohol dependence, and physical illnesses.
- The peer worker will act as a consumer advocate
- Provide information and support for consumers
- Assist consumers in their recovery process.
