About The Position

Your leadership will empower them to deliver high quality support, inspire growth, and strengthen recovery outcomes across the community We have a leadership opportunity for a Certified Peer Specialist Supervisor to join our team in Montgomery County! (Colmar, PA)

Requirements

  • Master's level Mental Health Professional who has completed the Department approved Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) supervisory training within 6 months of hire;
  • Bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education or a related field and 2 years of mental health direct service experience that may include Peer Support Services (PSS); and has completed the CPS supervisory training curriculum approved by the Department within 6 months of hire;
  • Associate’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, political science, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education or a related field with 3 years of mental health direct service experience and have completed the CPS supervisory training approved by the Department within 6 months of hire;
  • High school diploma or GED and 4 years of mental health direct service experience that may include but not limited to PSS and crisis services; and have completed the CPS supervisory training curriculum approved by the Department within 6 months of hire.
  • Valid driver's license required
  • You will work onsite at our office at 2506 North Broad Street in Colmar Monday-Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

  • Staff Supervision & Personnel Management: Supervise Supported Employment and CPS staff, manage conflicts, and handle hiring, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Training & Staff Development: Provide training, coaching, and ongoing oversight of documentation, court procedures, safety policies, and managed care practices.
  • Program Support & Strategic Collaboration: Assist the Director with goals, budgeting, marketing efforts, meetings, and cross-team collaboration.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to state, OMH, and Merakey regulations while maintaining program standards, documentation accuracy, and incident reporting.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor productivity, referrals, logs, recovery plans, and ensure timely completion of Avatar (EHR) documentation and service delivery requirements.
