The Success Brand Certified Peer Specialist is a compassionate and skilled professional dedicated to empowering individuals to achieve improved mental well-being. Serving as a mentor, guide, and resource, the role involves facilitating personalized support for clients, fostering their growth, and enhancing their resilience through practical strategies and collaborative goal-setting. The position combines direct client engagement with administrative and team-based collaboration, creating a holistic impact in the field of mental health support.

Requirements

  • Must possess experience in supporting individuals in improving their mental well-being and achieving their personal goals.
  • Maintain current malpractice insurance.
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit exceptional proficiency in managing electronic clinical or medical records (ECR/EMR).

Responsibilities

  • Establish rapport with clients to build therapeutic alliance.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of client demographic information, and intake forms to ensure all required documentation is complete.
  • Evaluate assessments to ensure accurate diagnosis and comprehensive treatment planning.
  • Develop and maintain treatment plans to ensure efficacy of client care.
  • Facilitate individual or group sessions to identify client needs, establish personalized goals, and monitor progress towards achieving mental health objectives.
  • Utilize practical techniques to equip clients with tools for managing emotions, overcoming challenges, and enhancing overall well-being.
  • Assess client progress regularly, celebrating milestones and adapting strategies as necessary to ensure continued growth.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate, and confidential session records using SOAP and Group Note templates.
  • Collaborate with your Clinical Supervisor to track and analyze client outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Actively participate in team dynamics by attending monthly staff and supervision meetings.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay informed on the latest practices and trends in mental health coaching.
  • Assist with additional tasks as directed to support the broader mission and goals of the organization.
